Shoaib Akhtar is a right arm fast bowler. Shoaib Akhtar is the fastest bowler of the world as he holds the world record of the fastest bowling. He bowled 100mph two times. Shoaib is called as “Rawalpindi express” due to his fastest bowling. Shoaib joined Pakistan cricket team few days before 1999 World cup. In his first performance he knocked out Sachin Tandulker and Rahul Dravid. Shoaib’s life is full of controversies. He faced banned by the PCB but the ban was lifted on appeal. He was blamed for the scandal of forbidden drugs along with Muhammad Asif. After a long case of being involved in such bad activities he was proved to be innocent. After 2003 world cup, Shoaib Akhtar lost his place in the Pakistan cricket team; he had got a bad relationship with the captain Inzamam-ul-haq and the coach Bob Woolmer. But later he came back with the big bang and again got a strong place in team in 2005. He proved again that he is the world’s best bowler; he bowled against England and knocked them out. Shoaib played county cricket for English county cricket. DRUG SCANDAL: In 2006, Shoaib was accused to use forbidden drugs after a dope test, which showed positive results. But later Shoaib proved his innocence and claimed that he never took any kind of performance enhancing drugs. Anti doping committee imposed a ban on Shoaib for 2 years but later Shoaib made him clear and declared his innocence so the ban was lifted and he again came back in international cricket. In 2007, another scandal raised against Shoaib that he used slang language against Shahid Afridi and hit his teammate Muhammad Asif and misbehaved with both of them. PCB charged 300,000 on Shoaib for this mischievous and bad behavior. PCB also imposed a ban on him for 5 matches. Later Shoaib cleared the mess and ended the fight. After the ban of 13 matches he again came back in the international cricket and again he proved his self best. Shoaib Akhtar is now playing for Indian domestic cricket, he has appointed for Shahrukh khan’s cricket team. Shoaib career is running with the 138 ODI and 219 wickets. In 46 test matches he took 178. |
