Pakistani Dress

Pakistani dress have its own impact in eastern fashion. Pakistani bridal dress are very famous in South Asia. Pakistani bridal and wedding dress are made by Indian designers after the fertile bilateral relationship between Pakistan and India in the year 2005.

Pakistani dressing has so many different colors such as it is influenced by many other traditions of other civilizations and religions like Afghanistan, Western civilization, Indian dressing and others. National dress of Pakistan is “sherwani”. Usually people wear Shlawar Kamwwz, male with cap or “Topi” while female with Dupatta a kind of veil. Pakistan is a Muslim state so women cover their selves while men has to be dressed in a gentle way with certain rules and regulation. Pakistani dressing varies from region to region like Pakistan has four provisions so people dressed according to their provisional values and traditions. Example of this is that in the province Sindh men wear ajrak and sindhi topi with patyala shalwar and shirt (kameez) likewise in Balouchistan men wear balouchi shalwar with Shirt (kameez) and shawl with balouchi embroidered topi or cap. In Punjab men wear lacha or dhoti with long shirt or kameez while in sarhad frok with patyala shalwar are the main dress of men. Women wear long shawl or dupatta with shalwar kameez in Sindh, Balouchistan with shawl too and sarhad their dresses are fully embroidered while in Punjab women wear lacha with long kurti a kind of long loose shirt.

Now days a great change in the Pakistani dressing has emerged like young generation like wearing jeans and shirts and t-shirts while people dress more gently and simply without any kind of embroidery in normal days while in parties and other festivities embroidered and heavy dresses are inn.

 Pakistani Designer dresses are also getting very renowned in Indian media. Therefore, Indian and Pakistani cultures are coming close to each other after every passing day.
