History
of Pakistan is 60 years old since when it came into being on the map of this
world but the region where Pakistan arouse has a great and ancient history. Lets
discuss only the history of Pakistan. In 1947, when Muslims arouse as an
independent and united nation they demanded an independent state where they can
live their lives independently. Pakistan came into being according to the wishes
of Muslims a new state developed. Quaid-e-Azam was the founder of Pakistan; in
1906 Muslim League rose for the rights of Indian Muslims. Quaid-e-Azam presented
the two-nation theory in front of British rule and demanded British to rule to
divide and leave Hindustan. After a long and strong struggle and resistance
Muslims got Pakistan. In the rule of Ayub Khan Pakistan fought against Indians
for the issue of Kashmir whish is disputed between Pakistan and India. In 1971,
Pakistan lost its east half because of the Bengal’s resistance and rose as an
independent state of “Bangladesh”, India favored and supported East Pakistan
violence. Then comes the democrat government in Pakistan from 1972-1977 but
again deposed by General Zia-ul-Haq. He died in a plane crash and then Benazir
Bhutto got the office authorities. Later she was dismissed and Nawaz Sharif got
the power as a prime minister, again Benazir Bhutto came into power and then
Nawaz Sharif. In 1999,Krgil conflict rose and Chief of army staff General Pervez
Musharraf dismissed Nawaz Shrif. In 2002, Zafar Ullah Khan Jamali elected as
Prime minister and Pervez Musharraf named him self as a president of Pakistan.
In 2004, Zafar Ullah Khan Jamali resigned and Shaukat Aziz elected as Prime
minister of Pakistan followed by Shujat Hussain. In 2008 election, PPP got the
highest seats in National assembly and Mahdoom Yousaf Raza Gilani elected Prime
Minister of Pakistan.
Pre History of Pakistan
started with the civilization of Indus valley with sites of Mohen jo
Darro and Harappa. The Indus valley civilization followed by Vedic
civilization, which spread over the plains of Indo-gangetic. Then comes
the Alexinder the great and Maryann rule, after that Indo-Greek kingdom
with Punjab and Ghandara. Greco-Budhist established. Later in 712CE
Muhammad bin qasim vanquished Punjab and Sindh, he established several
Muslim empires in Indian subcontinent including Mughal empire Ghaznavid
and others. Mughal Empire failed to rule and powers shifted to East
India British company, which then left and divided South Asia into
Pakistan and India.
