Karachi is the
largest city of Pakistan. It is a metropolitan city. Karachi is
considered as the backbone of Pakistan. Old name of Karachi was DEEBAL, Karachi9
is also called as “Mini Pakistan”, and it is located at the coast of Arabian
Sea, climate of Karachi is temperate. It total area 700 miles long, it has 540
low localities colonies which are deprived of basic facilities, Orangi town is
that area of Karachi which is the largest low locality colony of Asia. Karachi
itself is a 8th most largest city regarding its population. People of Karachi
are very straight forward life is very busy and fast here, usually the boys like
wearing Jeans, as jeans culture is very popular in Karachi. Girls like
wearing Shalwar Qamiz, majority of girls like wearing Abaya (long coat to cover
their selves) and veil. Karachi has the biggest university of Pakistan; Karachi

Times Square, Sareena Beach, Paradise point, Neelam point, Sindh Delta, which is
the 2nd largest delta of the world, Karachi has lots of amusement, adventure and
nature parks such as Safari Park,Go Aish, Alla Din, Hill Park, Garden Zoo
(Gandhi Garden), Sam zoo Park, Coozi Water Park, Dream World and others are
reputable. “Chai” (Tea) and “Pan” is the symbol of hospitability and both these
things are the common habit of people of Karachi. Regarding to business Karachi
is the Backbone of Pakistan. Karachi Stock Exchange is No. one regarding to
Index Point. In Karachi there are eight Airbases. Karachi also has five
Seaports, among them Port Qasim is the biggest port; its channel is about 40 km.
Quaid-e-Azam International Airport is the busiest and biggest airport of
Pakistan. Railway connection is worked under Pakistan Railway and popular and
biggest Railway station of Karachi is “Cantt station”. In the center of the
city, mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam is situated, who was the founder of Pakistan.
Popular markets of Karachi includes Tariq Road, which is the most expensive
Shopping center of South Asia, Saddar Empress market, which is the oldest market
of Karachi, others are Bolten market which is the retailer and whole sale
market, Hyderi market, Bohri Bazar, Lalo Khet these are the local markets.
Sophisticated and modern people of Karachi usually like going to The Forum,
Dollmen Mall, The Park Tower, Family Center, City center, Millenium Mall, Chase
up Shopping Mall etc. Sophisticated areas of Karachi are Defence, Clifton, F.B
Area, Malir Cantt, Sindhi Muslim Society, and KDA Scheme etc. M.A Jinnah Road is
one of the widest roads of South Asia. Sharae Faysal is the Main Shara of
Karachi. Its industrial area includes New Karachi, S.I.T.E Area, Korangi
Kreek. World’s first Round about which is dedicated to perfume and named, as
“Perfume Chowk” is located in Gulistan-e-Jauher Karachi. Karachi is a perfect
