Medical Colleges in Pakistan

In Pakistan there is a great shortage of Medical colleges. Thousands of pupils compelled to leave medical education due to the unavailability of enough medical colleges and limited seats.  There are only 32 medical collages in Pakistan that are authorized and recognize by Pakistan medical and dental council (PMDC) from which sixteen is establish under the government sector and sixteen are working under private sector. Here are some of medical colleges that are working under the government sector:

• Dow University of health and sciences of Karachi.

• Dow international medical collage Karachi.

• Sindh medical collage Karachi.

• Chandhka medical collage, larkana.

• Nawabshah medical collage for girls, nawabshah.

• Karachi medical dental collage, Karachi.

• Ayyub medical collage aabotabad.

Here are some of medical colleges belongs to private sector:

• Agha khan medical university of Karachi.

• Baqai medical collage Karachi.

• Baqai dental collage of Karachi.

• Bolan medical collage quetta.

• Peshawar medical collage Peshawar.

• Liaquat national medical collage of Karachi.

Degrees of only medical colleges that are authorized by PMDC are accepted in Pakistan.
