United states supported Pakistan’s nuclear program because of Soviet invasion of
Afghanistan while Pakistan supported Afghanistan and India favored Soviet Union.
In1988, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto and India’s Prime Minister
Rajeev Gandhi decided not to victim each others nuclear program and new
relationship of Pakistan and India developed. In 1997,
India and Pakistan again came together to solve all the issues and both
countries had dialogues with each other but all that discussion and negotiation
ended without fruitful results. India and Pakistan both are the members of South
Asian Association of Regional Corporation. Pakistan insists to resolve Kashmir
issue according to the wishes and demands of Kashmiri people as well as
according to UN resolution as Kashmir’s self- determination while India insists
