BBC Urdu News

BBC Urdu news was started first time in 1940, before the partition of India and Pakistan. Firstly it was serving by the name of BBC Hindustan but after the partition in 1966 it was renamed as BBC Urdu news.  There is a very huge network of BBC Urdu news in Pakistan and out side the Pakistan. Urdu is the national language of Pakistan but besides Pakistan BBC Urdu service is also available in different other countries due to the presence of Urdu speakers and listeners. BBC provides its Urdu news services on Internet and through radio.
