Pervez Musharraf:

 

     Pervez Musharraf is the former Chief of Army Staff and current president of Pakistan. He was born in 1943 in India on 11 August. He took the charge of Pakistan in 1999 on 12 October when the former Prime minister of Pakistan Nawaz sharif dismissed him and ordered not to land his plane in Karachi. Musharraf took the charge of Pakistan and terminated the constitution of Pakistan immediately. He imposed Martial Law and became the Chief executive of Pakistan. After that he sent Nawaz Sharif out of Pakistan according through a deal, in exile. In 2001 President Musharraf held referendum to appoint himself as a President of Pakistan by dismissing Muhammad Rafiq Tarar.

Musharraf was elected as a President of Pakistan for 5 years, he decided and announced to fight against terrorism and extremism after 9/11, he also gave United states a green signal that he will move on step to step with United states in the war against terrorism. Right after Musharraf's this announcement united states' President George .W. Bush announced to give amnesties to Pakistan in several affairs besides military aid. Musharraf became very popular after when he came in power as he was succeeded to convince the people of Pakistan to end the corruption, on the other hand lots of Pakistani people were unhappy because of this new dictatorship, as democracy is the power for any developing country. Later on Musharraf's popularity graph has fallen down because of several unhappy acts, which he had taken during his rule, Musharrah escaped safely in three assassinations, later on extremist who had been found to be involved in the assaisination attempts were arrested and punished according to rules.

      Parvaiz Musharraf's political party failed to achieve prominent number of seats in National assembly in election 2008. Musharraf declared emergency in Pakistan on 2nd November 2007, which ended on 15 December 2007. He re-elected his self as a President by the National assembly who had completed its duration and had no right to re-elect President according to the constitution of Pakistan. Several opposition political parties had challenged this act of Musharraf in court and when on 3rd November 2007 Supreme Court announced to solve this problem forever Musharraf declared the state of emergency in Pakistan. He suspended the constitution and all the judges and lawyers were kept imprisoned. Indubitable, Musharraf has raised the economy of Pakistan by making good policies but on the other hand his ruler ship gave Pakistan new dangers as terrorism, extremism in his rule extended because he is a typical dictator who like destroying militants rather negotiate with them. In Musharraf's rule several unhappy and disastrous events happened like Laal masjid and Bugti's encounter, Bhutto assassination.

       Musharraf signed a deal with Benazir Bhutto, she forced him to leave the seat of Army chief and she had a dialogue with him and convinced him to lift the ban on her and other leaders who elected prime minister 2 times according to the deal person remained in the office 2 times can again elected 3rd time, as prime minister. According to deal Musharraf left the seat of Army chief, but he re elected as a President.

       Musharraf's governance had been stated as the bad governance in the history of Pakistan according to the Asian development bank report. After election 2008 Musharraf's opposing parties elected, Perves Musharraf announced that he is ready to work with the new government and he is not going to leave the seat of president as he is elected for 5 years.

After the election 2008 PPP got the power and all political parties and non political parties and people of Pakistan put pressure on Musharaf to resign from his office for the betterment of Pakistan and then finally Mushareaf resigned. He became the most unpopular leader of Pakistan because of several unjustice decision that he made during his duties.
