Sialkot is located in the province Punjab that is the population wise largest province of Pakistan. Sialkot International Airport,which is constructed by private sector of Sialkot city. This airport is the first private airport of Pakistan, which is administrated by private sector “SIAL”. Sialkot Dr Port is the first dry port of Asia, which is administrated by the Sialkot dry port trust. Another modern trnsport pathway in the shape of Sialkot Lahore Motorway is under construction in Sialkot. Iportant and famous educational institues are :  campus of Fatima Jinnah Women University, a campus of Virtual University of Pakistan, Murray College and others it alsp has a medical college named as Sailkot Medical College, a poly technique institute and other important educational institutes.University of Engineering Science and Technology Sialkot (UEST) is underconstruction in coolabortaion with Royal Institue of technology, Sweden.
