Multan University is crrently called as the Baha ud Din Zakariya University, it is the leading University of Multan. It is re-named after the popular saint Hazrat Baha ud din Zakariya. It offers and awards degree in over 23 subjects that includes humanities, medical, engineering, business, administration, music, art, law languages and IT. It is a public type University and it was founded in 1975, initially it worked with total 8 departments in a rented building.
