Multan University is currently called as the Bahauddin Zakariya University. It is the leading University of Multan. It is re-named after the popular saint Hazrat Bahauddin Zakariya. It offers and awards degree in over 23 subjects that includes humanities, medical, engineering, business, administration, music, art, law languages and IT. It is a public type Multan University and it was founded in 1975, initially it worked with total 8 departments in a rented building. Currently this university has 20 departments and there are four affiliated colleges in Multan. Affiliated colleges and universities to Multan University are: -
