History of Capital of Pakistan
Islamabad is the capital of pakistan. It is located in the province Punjab. It constructed in the year 1960 by the government of Pakistan in order to fulfill the need of a safe and secured capital city. Islamabad replaced Karachi city as a capital of Pakistan.
Introduction of Islamabad City
Islamabad is a quite different city from any other Pakistani city because it was constructed by the government of Pakistan. Islamabad is a modern and advanced city its commercial area is called as Blue Area this area is the most advanced area of Islamabad. Islamabad is surrounded by beautiful Margala hills these hills are the homeland of several wild animals and this hilly site is full of natural beauty that attracts human eye a lot.
Islamabad has a very large and beautiful "Masjid" named Fasisal Masjid that was gifted by King Faisal of Saudi Arabia. Climate of Islamabad remains extreme in summer while it becomes extreme cold in winters with snowfall.
Educational institutes of Islamabad include Allama Iqbal Open University, Shifa College of medicines and others. Government of Islamabad president official resident, prime minister's secretariat, Supreme Court's building, National assembly building located. Because of the close proximity Rawalpindi is the sister city of Islamabad.
